The TransRockies Run – Pass to Pub – to some, the idea of finding one’s self on a steep and narrow dirt trail on a windswept ridge high in the Rocky Mountains is a ludicrous notion. For others, it’s something to train for by day and dream about by night.
On tap for the TransRockies Run Pass to Pub we have two race distances: The Full Pint and the shorter distance Half Pint. Each is challenging in its own way and each consists of three unique stages over three days.
The Full Pint
At 51 miles (82 km) and 9,635 ft (2,937 m) of vertical gain, The Full Pint is for those who want to experience a little more distance and elevation gain.
The Half Pint
For those that are looking for something a little less intense, we present The Half Pint. It has all the flavor without as much volume, at 35 miles (56.3 km) and 6,855 ft (2089 m) of vertical gain.
If you are seeking the exhiliration of Rocky-Mountain terrain—alpine trails, mountain vistas, changing elevations—the kind of rugged, scenic terrain beloved by mountain trail runners, then this is the event for you.
