
TRANSPYR COAST TO COAST – E-Transpyr
If you love adventure, electric mountain biking, and the thrill of crossing mountain ranges, then the Transpyr Coast to Coast – E-Transpyr is for you. Experience the magic of riding from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean, crossing the spectacular Pyrenees through valleys, passes, and charming mountain villages.
The E-Transpyr offers the same essence and spirit as the legendary Gran Raid MTB, adapted specifically for E-MTB. It combines sport, technology, and exploration in one extraordinary journey, an unforgettable week of camaraderie, breathtaking scenery, and personal challenge.
Over 7 stages, riders will cover approximately 750 km and almost 18,000 m of cumulative elevation gain, riding from Roses (Mediterranean) to Hondarribia/Irun (Atlantic). Each stage averages around 105 km and 2,500 m of elevation gain, showcasing the full diversity of the Pyrenean landscape, from coastal trails to alpine passes and forest tracks.
Event Format & Requirements:
The E-Transpyr is designed for experienced E-MTB riders who train regularly and possess solid technical and physical preparation. Participants must be capable of maintaining a consistent pace throughout each stage. The organisation ensures charging facilities for batteries, mechanical assistance, and bike-cleaning stations at the end of each stage, guaranteeing a well-supported adventure.
Participation Modes:
TEAM E-Transpyr: Ride and cross the Pyrenees alongside your adventure partner.
SOLO E-Transpyr: Take on the full crossing as an individual challenge.
EAST E-Transpyr: Complete the first 3 stages from Roses toward the central Pyrenees.
WEST E-Transpyr: Ride the final 4 stages to reach the Atlantic coast.
