TRANSANDESCHALLEGE 2023 CONFIRMED.
The first stage of the Transandes Challenge 2023, begins as 4 of the 5 Stages, controlled from the base camp of the Green Park Hotel. Leaving the route toward the Volvan Villarrica ascent, from where the race time will begin. You will go up through different interior roads, trails, and then connect the uphill path until you reach the “playón”, then you will go up the road in the direction of the volcanic caves, to get to the highest point 1 at km 19.8, Go down the path to the beach again where you take the path up (km 29.6, to then go down paths to the Candelaria area, then you will enter new paths in the last part to finish the timed time at 50km.
A complete circuit of slow, technical and full “Mountain Bike” zones with the powerful Villarrica Volcano in the background throughout the Stage.
The 2nd Stage of the TransandesChallenge 2023 is a demanding, technical stage that reflects the essence of Transandes.
With 47 km of route and 1,430 meters of accumulated ascent, the 2nd Stage of the TAC 2023, is a combination of ascent and descent of what is a true Mountain Bike circuit.
The start and finish of the Stage, like 4 of the Stages of the TAC 2023, will be at the Base Camp of the Hotel Green Park.
The third Stage “Epic Stage” of the Transandeschallenge 2023 will be one of the longest of the 5 Stages of the Transandes Challenge 2023. A variety of technical trails, fast roads and ascents of up to 29%, will make this stage one of the most “memorable” of the TAC 2023.
You will leave in the direction of the Pucón airport to enter again through “El Cerduo” in the direction of the Bike Park, with quite technical ascent paths, and the classic “Crusade” of the lava river that will be done in both directions. Then we will enter the Nevados sector to enter a path in the direction of the Camino de Termas de Palguin, then we will enter a sector of wide paths, crossing the Trancura river by footbridge, and then a loop with the ascent with a “last climb” of 29%.
The 4th Stage of the Transandes Challenge 2023, will once again be “La Clasica” since we will relive the famous Lake Stage “Hualalafquen” almost on the border with Argentina, this stage was held in 2011, 2012 and 2013, 2022 and returns this 2023.
One of the most spectacular and precious Stages of the Transandes Challenge.
In this stage, we will move to the town of Curraregue, which is 33 kilometers from Pucon.
The “Full Support” runners will be transferred by Van and Bus to the starting area and the “Self Support” runners must travel in their own vehicles.
The departure time of the Vans will be at 8:20 am.
