Topoloveni Summer Tour – MTB with a Taste of Adventure. Get ready to ride through the scenic hills of Romania’s Argeș at the Topoloveni Summer Tour, a cross-country (XC) mountain bike race hosted in the charming town of Topoloveni. Designed for all skill levels, this event offers smooth trails, dense forests, and rolling paths perfect for creating unforgettable cycling memories.
With three race options — Short, Standard, and E-Bike — riders aged 5 and up can find their perfect challenge. The Standard route and E-bike routes each span 40 km with a 450 m elevation difference and a moderate difficulty rating (3/5). The Short Route is tailored for young riders (ages 5–13) and beginners. With a distance of 20 km, and an altitude difference of ±160, it’s ideal for those new to MTB racing. Competitors will vie for Gold, Silver, or Bronze badges based on finishing times.
Organised by MPG & MTB Academy, the event promises premium services: route marking, chip timing, emergency aid, mechanical assistance, photo coverage, and more. Participants will receive a comprehensive race package including a t-shirt, medal, recovery snacks, and sponsor goodies. While Bucharest-based riders must collect packages in advance, those from outside the capital can pick theirs up on race day.
Registration closes June 11, with limited spots (1,000 max), and no same-day sign-ups. Special discounts are available for families and company teams. All entrants are also automatically entered into a raffle with exciting prizes.
