THE TRACK Mongolia takes place in the mythical Gobi Desert, the largest desert in Asia, located in southern Mongolia.

The start of our event will be at the ruins of the Ongiin monastery, the “Pearl of the desert”. The route will then follow the Ongiin Khiid River towards the south of the country over two stages. We will then continue towards the large Saxaul forests, typical tree of the desert regions of Central Asia and the large pink cliffs: the “Flaming Cliffs”.
Then, we will continue across vast desert plains to reach an imposing mountain range in the evening of stage 5. After crossing a canyon, we will discover the spectacular sand dunes of Khongoryn Els. We will then be in the Gurvan Saykhan National Park.
After crossing the line of dunes, we will continue our route through landscapes offering a variety of sublime colors. During the last stage, we will reach the narrow gorges of the Ice Canyon before continuing on the tracks of the Mongolian steppe towards the final finish line…. Change of scenery guaranteed!
