Looking to experience the beauty and challenge of the Alps Epic without the pressure of racing against the clock? THE HIKE – Alps Epic is your ideal adventure—a self-paced mountain and gravel biking experience through the breathtaking Hautes-Alpes, open to all levels of riders.
Taking place from June 20 to 25, 2025, The Hike allows you to choose between 2-day or 5-day packages, with three route options: the full “Hike” route, the shorter “Short Hike,” or a specially designed gravel-friendly route. All routes are accessible by mountain bike, e-MTB, or gravel bike.
Each day features a new stage, with distances ranging from 50 to 63 km and significant elevation gain—perfect for riders who crave a challenge without the stopwatch. The journey kicks off in Puy Saint Vincent and winds through iconic Alpine terrain, finishing in Montgenèvre, all fully supported with logistics, meals, and accommodation options.
The adventure begins on Friday, June 20, with rider check-ins, bike checks, and a festive opening ceremony. From Saturday to Wednesday, you’ll ride stunning trails, refuel with post-ride meals, and relax with fellow riders in picturesque Alpine villages.
