Scott Mediterranean Epic Gravel
SCOTT Mediterranean Epic Gravel is a full gravel festival experience set in Sant Jordi, a small town in northern Castellón where farm tracks, olive groves, and a constantly shifting landscape blend sea and inland scenery into every ride. Over the course of the weekend, the Urbanización Panorámica Golf transforms into the self-styled capital of Mediterranean gravel — a gathering point for riders of every level and their families, built around a genuinely festive, sport-first atmosphere.
At the heart of it all is a gravel race with a choice of three distances, so riders can decide how far to push themselves right up until the morning of the start. The longest route combines ideal gravel tracks with small connecting roads through spectacular sea-and-mountain scenery, with a constant rolling profile and a serious cumulative climb that rewards genuine endurance. The middle-distance route shares the same course before splitting off earlier to avoid the toughest loop, offering a balanced test without pushing riders to their absolute limit. The shortest route trims things down further while still sharing the same start and much of the same scenery — a great entry point for newer riders or anyone chasing a shorter, punchier day out.
Beyond the racing, the weekend builds around a full multi-brand cycling expo featuring the latest bikes, tyres, helmets, sports nutrition, and accessories, complete with a demo bike programme on purpose-built test circuits. Add in live concerts, a dedicated food zone showcasing local specialities, supervised kids’ activities, a serviced camper zone, product testing, and social rides for accompanying riders, and the event becomes as much a celebration of gravel culture as a race.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best across 146 km or simply looking for a great weekend among fellow gravel riders, Mediterranean Epic Gravel delivers a complete package built around community, scenery, and celebration.
