Rosendal Cosmos Social MTB Weekend
Prepare yourselves, fellow peddlers of mirth and two-wheeled adventurers! Forget your mundane Monday-to-Friday grind, because we’re about to embark on a glorious two-day weekend escapade into the Eastern Free State, where the cosmos will bloom as if someone spilled a bucket of purple paint across the landscape.
Rosendal Cosmos Social MTB Weekend features 2 days of riding on gravel and farm roads around the town Rosendal, situated in the Free State Province of South Africa. Although longer route options are available for those wanting to do a longer ride, the Rosendal Cosmos Social Weekend MTB race route is made up of 2 stages, with distances of 40 km on Day 1 and 30 km on Day 2.
Also included in the entry fee are:
- 2 Nights luxury accommodation in a selection of guesthouses in Rosendal
- 5 Mouth-watering meals from Friday dinner to Sunday brunch at various restaurants in town
- Event-specific high quality t-shirt
Location
Rosendal is a small farming town and arts colony 45 km north of Ficksburg in the Free State province of South Africa which was founded in 1908. It has become a popular tourist destination, known for spectacular scenery, including the surrounding Witteberg mountains, and is home to a community of artists and small business owners. The town has a number of attractive buildings and restored early-20th-century homes.
