Experience South Africa like never before at the Old Mutual go2berg, a 7-day mountain bike stage race through the heart of the country. Scheduled for 13–19 September 2025. This event offers 562 km of breathtaking trails, from Villiers to the Drakensberg, showcasing rural beauty and vibrant communities, all within the context of a gruelling and yet spectacular mountain bike stage race experience.
The 2025 stages are as follows
- Day 1: Villiers to Frankfort – 58 km
- Day 2: Frankfort to Reitz – 85 km
- Day 3: Reitz to Clarens – 116 km
- Day 4: Clarens to Sterkfontein Dam – 85 km
- Day 5: Sterkfontein to Emseni – 85 km
- Day 6: Emseni to Emseni (75% singletrack) – 50 km
- Day 7: Emseni to the Drakensberg – 83 km
Designed for both competitive racers and recreational riders, the event offers various entry packages, including standard tents, upgraded tents, and camper van options. Each package includes accommodation, meals, and logistical support. E-bikes are welcome, with guidelines to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants.
