The New Planet Zuka Run—Africa’s wildest run—is a thrilling trail running event held in the heart of South Africa’s and KZN’s untamed wilderness. More than just a two-day trail run, it’s a unique combination of endurance, conservation, and community. Hosted at the Zuka Private Game Reserve and Bayala Private Safari Lodge in the middle of Big 5 Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal, the event gives runners and nature lovers a very unique opportunity to take on incredible and untamed trail running courses through Zuka Private Game Reserve surrounded by BIG 5 wildlife! The Zuka Trail offers two course options, the Epic and the Scenic.

- Scenic – 8 km
Day 2:
- Epic – 17 km
- Scenic – 7 km
Setting & Atmosphere:
- Location: Bayala Private Safari Lodge, Zuka Private Game Reserve, part of the Greater Munywana Conservancy in Zululand, KZN, RSA.
- Terrain: Rugged savannah, dense bushveld, dry riverbeds, and woodlands—natural, untamed, and exhilarating.
- Wildlife: Runners may spot antelopes, giraffes, zebras, birds and of course the legendary Big 5 game while running on pure wilderness trails through the heart of the reserve.
