STAGES:
Day 1: Saqsaywaman circuit (17km, +361m) starting at 3,600m elevation
Day 2: Extended Saqsaywaman loop (32km, +992m) reaching 3,960m
Day 3: Cusco to Ollantaytambo (82.9km, +1,239m) with high point at 4,200m
Day 4: Ollantaytambo circuit (51.2km, +1,085m)
Day 5: Final stage in Machu Picchu Town (9km, +489m)
Riders will test their technical skills and endurance while experiencing Peru’s rich cultural heritage, passing through traditional villages and ancient archaeological sites. The race reaches extreme altitudes, demanding proper acclimatization and preparation.
