Since its inception in 2011 as a 6-day UCI stage race, this event has evolved significantly. Celebrating over a decade of adventure, we’ve shifted to a more intimate 3-day, non-competitive MTB ride format, designed to offer an unparalleled riding experience while reducing environmental impact and enhancing community engagement.
BASE CAMP: Malealea Lodge, nestled in the Maloti Mountains
The new 3-day format features a cloverleaf route design starting from a single base camp – making navigation a breeze with provided GPS tracks. Each stage offers unique challenges and spectacular views, with distances up to 60km per day. Riders can expect well-maintained trails and superb support including water points, mechanical assistance, and optional sports massage services.
