Lesotho Sky is a 361km team Mountain Bike Stage Race in Lesotho. With 9515m of climbing in the “Mountain Kingdom” over 6 days, this event will without doubt blow your mind…
http://lesothosky.com/race/testimonials/"For me the aim to participate in a competition, outside of my profession in rally raid, is to discover a new country and exceptional landscape within a good organisation. As I got the chance to see parts of the track during the adventure weekend in March. I was sure, that the Lesotho Sky Race offered nice single tracks, technical downhills and daily distances which are also suitable for non-professional riders.
I enjoyed the very family like atmosphere as well as the typical lodges with all their hospitality. “Merci” to Darol and Christian for their professional organisation. The tracks brought us to wild and lonely places, which are unreachable, if you don’t know the area – within all the safety and medical care. The week was fantastic and I left with lots of good memories."

The terrain was at times brutal and unforgiving, but the routes and settings so inspiring and rewarding."

Do this event before it grows too big, you will not regret one second of it. Keep an eye out for a full feature on the Lesotho Sky in an upcoming issue of Ride."
