The Dark Forest Stage Race is an exhilarating MTB stage race traversing the Ore Mountains. Athletes are invited to compete with their peers in the densely wooded mountain landscape over four days. Tradition and modernity merge – the traditional route of the KAMM-BIKE-CROSS will inspire you just as much as the freshly laid trails of the Rabenberg Trail Center. Four days dedicated to mountain biking with four varied routes, four different starting lines – do you already see yourself at the start?
Thanks to two distance options, we are certain that you will find the right challenge for you whether you are a professional athlete or an enthusiast.
Full: 185km – 6,000m ascent.
Half: 95km – 3,050m ascent.
Are four days too much for you? It is also possible to select your own day on which to start.
The event showcases the Ore Mountains from different angles through daily changing starting locations and routes. Each stage town offers you its mountain bike-specific features, the so-called regional “trail treats”. Program items on selected evenings round off the overall event. They offer you the opportunity for mutual exchange and networking.
