Plan the 2024 season. The BH Catalunya Bike Race by Oakley is a three-day MTB individual-stage race, held in Puigcerdà.
The seventh edition will be held from September 27 to 29, 2024, in Puigcerdà (Girona), a territory in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees that is ideal for Mountain Bike. The BH Catalunya Bike Race is a staged MTB event included in the calendar of the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation. 5,200 participants of 27 different nationalities take part. There is an event for individuals and one for teams. Here’s what you can expect: emblematic landscapes and a multitude of fun trails. The route consists of approximately 190km and 5500m through the Pyrenees. The three circular stages start and finish in Puigcerdà and with the final stage in Alp. There are 2,800 euros in cash prizes for the Elite Male and Female categories. This is one of the MTB stage races with the highest participation in the world.
With Puigcerdà as the nerve center, one of the great novelties is that the last stage will be in the town of Alp. The objective of this movement is to continue expanding the event throughout the region of La Cerdanya since it is an area with a multitude of options, landscapes, trails and unique views.
In addition to the debut of Alp, we will also recover routes from the first editions, since we will move even more through the region so that you can travel the best trails in the area. Also new, those in charge of designing the routes for this edition will be the ‘Cerdanya Cycling Culture’ cycling community of the region, who know the area like no one else.
