In a move away from big mtb stage races, the Bike & Battle adventure is a small event limited to 50 participants staying in the lap of luxury set in the heart of the Anglo Zulu Battlefields. This intimate setting is a unique active leisure experience that entails more than just mountain biking! 4 days & 3 nights will give you the opportunity to ride some incredible trails in and around the famous battlefield sites, encompassing the historical war that unfolded while providing the backdrop for a fun, memorable and luxurious leisure experience.
The rugged Tugela and Buffalo River Valleys are typical Zululand bushveld. The activities of the commercial farmers and rural communities who live here have created an endless network of natural trails interspersed between dirt roads. These are ideal for mountain biking in one of the more historical areas in South Africa.
